Two ways to get down the river, and people regularly book the wrong one. The difference isn't difficulty. It's how much you want to think about.
Self-guided descent
We shuttle you upriver, you float back to camp at your own pace. No guide, no schedule, no group. You stop where you like, swim where you like, and finish when you finish.
Pick this if: you're comfortable on the water, you're in a small group who all want the same thing, and you'd rather have the afternoon unstructured. It's also the cheaper option.
Ultimate Lazy River Tubing Tour
Guided, with everything handled. [Confirm exactly what the guided tour includes: guide, transport, food, duration.] The guide knows where the good swimming holes are and where the current does the work for you.
Pick this if: it's your first time, you're bringing a mixed group with varying confidence, or it's a celebration and you'd rather nobody in the party has to organise anything.
What's the same either way
Life jackets, a safety briefing, and the shuttle. The river itself is slow and shallow in the right places. This is floating, not whitewater.
One thing worth knowing
Both fill up on summer weekends. If you're coming Friday to Sunday in July or August, book the river when you book your site rather than deciding on arrival.
