Cancellation & Refund Policy

Accommodations (glamping, tents, RV, Vanlife)

More than 7 days before your booking begins:

  • You can move your reservation free of charge, depending on availability (can only be moved 1 time);
  • You can get a refund (80%) for your reservation;
  • Any refund request for an accommodation is subject to a 20% processing fee per refund action. This is to cover the transaction and other fees we must assume with credit card payments.

Less than 7 days before your booking date:

  • You can request to move your reservation for a 50% fee, depending on availability (can only be moved 1 time);
  • No refunds or store credits can be requested.

 

Activities & rentals

More than 96 hours before tour date:

  • You can move your reservation free of charge, depending on availability (can only be moved 1 time).
  • You can get a full refund for your reservation.
  • Any refund is subject to a 10% processing fee to a maximum charge of $85 plus tax per refund action. This is to cover the transaction fees we must assume with credit card payments. 

Between 96 hours and 48 hours before tour date:

  • You can move your reservation for a 30$ fee per ticket, depending on availability (can only be moved 1 time);
  • 50% reimbursement in case of cancellation.

Less than 48 hours before tour date:

  • You can move your reservation for a 50% fee, depending on availability.
  • No reimbursement in case of cancellation. 

All times:

  • PENDING reservations cannot be refunded.
  • Reservations postponed more than once cannot be refunded
  • Any refund is subject to a 10% processing fee plus tax per refund action. This is to cover the transaction fees we must assume with credit card payments. 

For group reservations of 10 or more guests:

  • More than 7 days before the booking date:
    • You may move your reservation free of charge (can only be moved 1 time);
    • There is a 25% processing fee for refund requests
  • Less than 7 days before the booking date:
    • There is a 50% fee for moving a reservation (can only be moved 1 time);
    • Refunds are no longer possible.

 

Refund Payment

Once approved, Aventure Outaouais will refund the amount due in the same form of payment used and to same account. It can take between 5 to 10 days to receive a full refund due to transaction delays. No refunds can be issued in cash. 

Note: Aventure Outaouais conducts operations in all weather conditions, with some exceptions:

  • extreme weather;
  • when there is a foreseeable risk;
  • when there are insufficient bookings;
  • and or any other event beyond our control.

In these situations, the tour will be postponed to another date suitable to you, or there will be a full refund with no processing fees.
